There are a series of events immediately leading up to trial that are important to the trial process. When you actually go to trial, Voire Dire is the process of choosing a jury. Next, is the opening statements made by the attorneys which is where the attorney should set the stage for the trial. Then, the Plaintiff has the chance to tell their side of the case using witnesses and documents. Next, the Defendant has their chance to tell their side. Finally, are the closing statements where many cases are won or lost. This is the final chance to sway the jury. Next, the jury comes back with their decision.
