1) As of August 10th Veterans will be able to pay real estate agent commissions when they buy a house
2) Because of the NAR Lawsuit as of 6/24 starting in August all buyers who are working with a real estate agent will need a signed buyers agreement which lays out how the real estate agent will be paid
3) Both the time period committed to agent and the agents fees are negotiable. In this video I cover the change and discuss how I personally would be looking at it if I was buying a home. This is not intended to set a price or be legal advice. This is my personal opinion. YOU can negotiate whatever you and the Real estate agent agree. Always discuss with your real estate agent or a real estate attorney. Every persons situation is unique and what is best for you in terms of negotiating is your call.
