How Dental Sedation Works – Conscious Sedation

This was a patient who had never been sedated and asked that we film the process. We agreed to do so as long as this patient agreed to let me use it for educational training. Conscious Sedation is a level of sedation that allows the patient to remain conscious however, the drugs will cause the patient the forget most to all of the memories of the procedure. This is the magic of the drugs; memory loss while remaining conscious, safe, and comfortable. No one really knows ALL of the reasons why & how this works; we just know that it works!
